Wealth is gap. It is the gap between what we need to survive and the excess that we actually have. The more gap, the more wealth.
We believe that God has called us to have some financial margin, some gap so we can be generous, and we aren’t trapped in worry.
In the Bible, we see two paths to creating a healthy gap: 1) living on less, or 2) creating more income. Some people that we call wealthy spend everything they have and actually have no gap. That’s not wealth—it’s just the appearance of wealth. Others that we think are not so well off may actually have more relative gap between their need and their provision—that’s healthy—true wealth.
In this series, we will be inspired and learn how to create gap.
